JULIA JONES is a film writer and director,

a martial artist and wannabe superhero,

a fiery scamp with a high pain tolerance.

Native to New Jersey, this scrappy little redhead always knew her future was in telling darkly comedic and sometimes uncomfortably violent tales. Her spirit animal is the fox and she watches far too much anime. Julia doesn't like talking about herself, but is very charming. 

 

She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and has been working in the industry for over a decade in film and tv development, post-production management, and marketing. She has worked for current living legends such as Plan B, Team Downey, and HBO. and her own films have won international awards and acclaim, including her directorial debut short film, Buckets, premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival, winning Best of fest at the national film festival for talented youth among others, and being nominated for the watersprite international student film awards.
